CTMH Thin Cuts Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close To My Heart Thin Cuts Blog Hop, if you arrived here from Creating with Kara Davies  you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance I hope you see something you like and just click on the link at the end of this post to continue the hop.

The Thin Cuts are great products that eliminate the need to fussy cut certain stamped shapes. I have chosen the My Anchor Bundle CC1139 which is one of the many products in the  Flash Sale for this week. The bundle includes the Thin Cuts as well as the stamps, and you can buy this set for just $36.00 the regular price is $45.00 what a great saving.

This layout uses photos from my holiday to the Bahamas last year to visit family and friends. The Regatta Paper Pack and Accessories, look great with these photos but unfortunately they are now discontinued. I need to give credit to Karen Pedersen as I used her layout as inspiration. I love how easy it is to use the Thin Cuts and the finished image looks so great. Check out the Seasonal Expressions 2 catalogue to see the terrific new Thin Cuts that are available for purchase

I really like the look of this card, it was super quick and easy to make. The flowers use the larger stamped heart and the centre of the flowers is the sun image. The stem of the flowers are cut freehand. The butterfly is made with the smaller heart, three of the Bitty Sparkles which I coloured with a Shin Han Marker creates the body of the butterfly.  I used Sapphire, Canary and Pixie Ink.

I hope you are enjoying this hop, to continue click here to go to Maz's Inky Fingers, I am sure she will have a great project to share. Please leave a comment, we all appreciate you taking the time to comment.
