Dreamin' Big Blog Hop

Welcome to our Dreamin" Big Blog Hop, if you arrived here from Shaunna you are in the right place if you arrive here by chance glad you stopped by. To continue the hop click on the link at the end of the post to see the next great project.

Dreamin' Big is a terrific paper collection, the uses are endless. Al of the papers are beautiful and so versatile. The compliments pack could be used with all sorts of themes
I love how colourful this card is, I really like making cards that I can send to friends as a" just because" card not a birthday etc card. I have used the Hello stamp from the Hello Baby Card Making Kit G1123 and the Friend stamp is from the Finding the Words set D1646. In this set, the stamp says Friends so I covered the s when I inked the stamp.

For my layouts I used  sketches I found on Pinterest as my inspiration. I love using our idea books and sketches because it makes completing layouts so much quicker and easier. It's great that you can alter the sketches to suit your photos if necessary.

These layouts were so easy to do, they came together really quickly once I had chosen my papers. I am always looking for layout ideas that have lots of photos because when our family gets together I take  way too many photos. I love looking through my albums and seeing the changes in the kids over the years.

To continue the hop go here to see Vandra's special project. We all enjoy putting together this hop to share many different ideas for CTMH's great products, please take a moment and leave a comment we do appreciate it.

March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the March Stamp of the Month Blog Hop, if you arrived here from Maz's Amazing Creations you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance just click on the link at the end of this post to continue the hop.

March's stamp of the month is Tea-riffic S1703 and oh my this is a terrific stamp, I loved working with it. It has 11 images and will really impress your family and friends with the lovely projects you will make.

I have made three different cards, this first one will be great to give to a friend, this is based on a similar card I saw on Pinterest. I stamped the cups and the sentiment with the Versamark ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. The flowers are cut using the Flower Market Cricut cartridge. I coloured white dots yellow with the Shin Han marker, to add to the center of the flowers.

My second card is what's called an "pop up card" it is my niece's birthday this month and I made it for her. I hope she likes it, I know she enjoys a good cup of tea. This card will fit in a regular envelope when folded flat but will also stand on a table on it's own.

This is the back of the card and the next photo shows how it will fit into an envelope.

This final card was fun to make and will be great to give away to someone that may need a little pick me up. It was quick and easy to make, the teacup is from the Flower Market Cricut cartridge, unfortunately it doesn't exactly match the teacup stamp but it was easy to still use the stamp. I coloured the stamp with a black water based marker and then stamped it onto the cut image. I used the grey and white Bakers Twine for the tea bag string. The inside of the card holds a teabag for that special person to enjoy.

Here are the instructions to make this card, cut your cardstock   3-1/2 x 10-1/2" and score at 3-1/2 and 7". Cut the last panel diagonally.  Run the ribbon under the popped-up front panel and tie. You can decorate your cup as desired. 3 little pink dots finish off the card. The white square on the front is 3"x3"and the black is 3-1/4" x 3-1/4"

I hope you are enjoying this hop, please take a minute and leave a comment, it will be greatly appreciated. Continue on and be inspired by what  Vandra has created.
