Stamping Blog Hop

Welcome to the CTMH Australasian Stamping blog hop, if you arrived from Maz's aMazing Creations  you are in the right place. If you arrived by chance click on the link at the end of this post to take you to the next blog.

This hop will be a little different from the usual where we focus a certain stamp set or paper collection to create our projects. This hop has the title stamping, which means we can choose any stamp in the current catalogue to showcase.

I have chosen the Lovely Borders stamp Z3763 and the Florals and Flutters stamp Z3764 for my project. These are both wonderful stamp sets and decorated my page beautifully.

I attended an afternoon tea put on by a local CWA which was a fund raiser for a women's refuge center. The guest speakers were three authors who spoke about how they go about writing their novels, from how they develop the characters, the editing process and then finding a publisher. It was a most enjoyable afternoon.

I stamped all of my images on white daisy cardstock and then coloured them with the Spectrum Noir markers. I love these makers that have three shades of one colour in each of the markers which makes colouring so much easier.

Thank you for stopping by, now hop along to Lynda at the Scrapbooking Photographer and see what great project she has to share.

Please take a moment and leave a comment, they are always appreciated.

Happy crafting!

Cape Cod Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the CTMH Australasian Cape Cod blog hop, if you arrived here from the Scrapbooking Photographer you are in the right place. If you arrived by chance I hope you get some inspiration from my projects and then click on the link at the end of this post to go to the next blog.

Today we are showcasing the Cap Cod collection, I love the soft colours of these papers and embellishments. These papers really do make me think of the ocean and the beach.

My niece recently sent me these photos of her and her daughter and they were perfect for this collection. They love spending time at the beach and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

I will let you in on a secret I had no intention of doing the ink smooshing technique but I managed to spill tea on my page. I was able to dry up the tea but it did leave a few stains, I was thinking I would have to start over  and that was then I thought of adding the ink smooshing. If you really look you can see the tea stains but thankfully the ink covered them pretty well.

One of my very good friend's father passed away last week and I made this card to send to her. I thought the colors were so soft and soothing they would work well for a sympathy card.

Thank you for stopping by now hop along to Maz at aMazing Creations  and see what great project she has to share.
