Hello and welcome to the Australasian CTMH the Good Life blog hop, if you arrived from Lynda at the Scrapbooking Photographer you are in the right place. If you arrived by chance click on the link at the end of this post to go to the next blog.
Today we are showcasing the Good Life collection, if you have boys in your family or live rural these papers and stickers will be a great addition to your stash. Even if you don't as always CTMH's papers are so versatile and can be used for many different themed projects.
Along with the good Life papers I have used the Scrapbooking stamp set for this card, I am sure any male in the family would be happy to receive this card, don't you just love this vintage truck. I coloured the truck with the Spectrum Noir markers, the pen work and sqiggely lines are what was needed to finish this card.
I think these papers worked really well with this photo of my maternal great grandparents and their youngest son. I have also used the September stamp of the month Thoughtful Tokens S2309 and some of my now retired vintage stamp sets.
I inked the edges of all of the papers with Mist ink, and also used mist and toffee inks to stamp the other images. The sentiment stamp says "Suddenly all my ancestors are behind me. Be still, they say. You are the result of the love of thousands." Yes that is so true, I am very much enjoying working with these old photos of my parents.
For this last card I have also used another of the stamps from the September stamp of the month set with one of the lovely papers from the Good Life collection. The Spectrum Noir markers Vintage Blue Blend and Antique Pink Blend matched the mist woodgrain paper and cardstock beautifully. The addition of few pearls always makes any card beautiful.
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you found some inspiration from my projects, now hop along to Maz's blog and see what wonderful project she has to share.
