September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the September Stamp of the Month blog hop, if you arrived here from Colleen's blog you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance I hope you see something you like.

The "Feel So Blessed" S1709 stamp set is lovely and it will be so versatile with both scrapbooking or card making projects.

I have created three projects for this hop and had such fun with them. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving Day in Australia like they do in America but there is always so much that I am thankful for that I wanted to create a layout representing just a handful of the many reasons that I do have to be thankful for. This is what I would call  a random layout, you know those layouts that fill in the blank spots between events. I have used six of the different stamps in this set with a few others from my collection of stamps, plus the thin cut hearts.

I decided to make two different Thank You cards using the "Thanks" stamp from this set, a masculine and a feminine card. This first card also uses the feather stamp. I used Glacier, Sapphire and Cashmere inks for the feathers and Cashmere ink with one of the Splash of Colour D1733 stamps for the background behind the feathers. Thanks for everything was stamped with Sapphire ink.

I found a similar card on Pinterest and used it as inspiration for this card. It is called a Diagonal Split card and you can find a video here to explain how to make it. I used the "Beautiful You Stamp and Thin Cuts set Z3384. I stamped the roses with Bashful and Pixie Inks. Thanks was stamped with Black ink and the lovely Bashful Pearls Z3369 finished off this card.

Thank you for stopping by, to continue the hop click here to go to Wendy's blog, I am sure she has something wonderful to share. Please take a moment and leave a comment it is always gratefully received.
