May's stamp "Live, Laugh, Love" S1705 is so pretty and is a wonderful addition to my collection. I had such fun creating with this stamp set.
Home decor items was the first thing that came to mind when I sat at my craft table and stated thinking about what I would make with these stamps. I've had this small canvas for quite awhile and thought it would be perfect for this project. The canvas is 7" x 91/2", and I painted it a pale blue. I then stamped the Live, Laugh, and Love images on White cardstock using Black ink. I then coloured them with the Shin Han Markers and fussy cut with the Non Stick Micro Tip Scissors Z1836. These scissors are my favourite and are perfect for fussy cutting. To decorate the canvas I then stamped the flowers and leaves, I added gems and sequins to make the flowers pop. I adhered the flowers and leaves with 3D Foam Tape Z1151. The black gem flourishes are no longer available but they added just the look I wanted to finish this canvas. I love that our Acrylix stamps can be manipulated when place on the blocks, I curved the stem of the center flower before I stamped the image.
This wreath project was a lot of fun to complete, the flowers and leaves were cut using the Cricut Cartridges. The pink flowers can be found on page 30, the purple flowers on page 29, (Flower 1 using the shift key) and the leaves on page 27 all are from the Flower Market cartridge. The white flowers are from the Artiste cartridge, found on page 54 Accent 3 shift key. The centers of the white flowers are pale pink flowers that I have had in my stash for years but they were perfect for these flowers. I inked the edges of these flowers using Pixie Ink Z2844 I just wanted a hint of pink. I stamped the LOVE in Cashmere ink Z2875 and then coloured it with the Shin Han Markers. It really doesn't take long to colour these images. I fussy cut the Love image and adhered to a 1" strip of wood grain paper from the Rustic Home Fundamentals Paper Pack Z3262, I then added this to a strip of black cardstock. To finish off I added a Blush Shimmer Ribbon bow.
