Little Dreamer Blog Hop

Welcome to the Little Dreamer Blog Hop, if you arrived here from Shaunna's blog you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance great to have you join us, you can continue the hop by clicking on the link at the end of this post.

The Little Dreamer Workshop Your Way (G1126) and Papers (X7219B) are so cute, the unicorn is so on trend at the moment. I have seen numerous unicorn decorative items in the shops recently. The papers and the embellishments are beautiful.

We are a family of readers, from the eldest to the youngest and so I made this bookmark for one of the younger members of the family. I was surprised at how quickly this idea came together, I put a little ink on the All Purpose Mat Z2045 then spritzed a little water using the Spray Pen Z1380 onto the ink then smooshed the white cardstock on to the mat. I used Thistle, Glacier, and Hollyhock Inks. The verse was stamped directly on the bookmark, but the unicorn clouds and stars were stamped on white cardstock and then added to the bookmark using 3D Foam Tape Z1151. I cut a length of Thistle and Glacier Thick Twine and added it to the Bookmark. To finish it off I added a few of the gems that come with the kit.

This layout was a labour of love, my mother has sewn from a young age and as she has gotten older quilting has become her choice of what to sew. It is easier than dressmaking and since she has started quilting she has made a quilt for each of her 18 great grandchildren. You can click on the photo and see a larger photo of this layout so you can appreciate these beautiful quilts.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying this hop and getting lots of great ideas. To continue the hop click here to go to Vandra's blog. I am sure she has something terrific to share. Your comments are always appreciated.

  1. I love both your projects Doris. Your unicorn looks like he is floating in the clouds. The layout honouring your amazing mum's quilting is just beautiful. So nice to see acts of love recorded for ever.
