Stitched Together Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our Australasian CTMH Stitched Together blog hop, if you arrived here from Megan's Crop, Craft, Create you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance you can continue the hop by clicking on the link at the end of this post.

Close To My Heart never fails to produce beautiful papers and decorations and this collection is no exception. These lovely papers will be so much fun to work with and if you are a quilter you will love the patchwork look paper.

This pretty background paper called for something special to be added. We all know fairies are real and they visit our gardens. I really love the fairy stamp it is from the Fairy Tale Magic stamp set C1832 and she has just landed on this beautiful flower, which come from the Floral Borders stamp set C1822

This layout was designed by my niece Laura Beacham who is also a CTMH consultant and I completed the layout at her workshop with my photos and just a few little changes. I am really happy with how it turned out. Wow doesn't the dome of the War Memorial look fantastic!

This striped paper is so versatile, you have so many colour options when creating your projects. For this card I decided on the Candy Apple cardstock and ink. This flower image is from Craft On Card Making Stamp and Thin Cut set and is available in the online only section.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope my projects have inspired you. To continue the hop and see some more great ideas go to  Lauren Moore's CTMH Craftings

June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop Garden Tags

Welcome to the Australasian CTMH Blog Hop if you have arrived here from Megan's Crop Craft Create you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance, you can see more great ideas by clicking on the link at the end of this post.

The June stamp of the month is called Garden Tags and nothing more needs to be said. These beautiful tags lend themselves to so many wonderful projects.

I am always impressed with simple black and white colour combination, I added pale blue to give just a little bit of colour. I stamped the tags and then framed a small section of the images using the small  square thin cut. My intention was to make a simple and pretty card.

I used a variation on the same theme for this card but made it a little more colourful. I coloured the stamped image with the beautiful Tri Blend markers, these make colouring so easy. The embossed cardstock adds some texture to the background. The white cardstock behind the flowers was a little stark so I decided to stamped some small splotches and I am really happy with how it turned out.

Thank you for stopping by, now you should hop along to Lauren Moore's blog to see what great project she has to share. Please take a moment and leave a comment they are always appreciated.
