Hello Lovely Layouts

Hi all, it's been a few weeks but I am back, my goal is to be more regular in my blog posting.

I showcased the Hello Lovely Collection at my January workshop, this is a gorgeous kit. The kit contains:
1 – Hello Lovely paper packet (X7216B)
1 – Hello Lovely Complements (X7216C)
4 – cardstock sheets (4 White Daisy)
1 – gold glitter gems (Z3312)
1 – blush shimmer ribbon (Z3313)

At my workshop I provide my attendees with all the materials to complete one double page layout and the instructions for three layouts. After I completed three double page layouts I still had lots left over from this kit. Here are my layouts.

It really disturbs me that many people that take photos never do anything with them. They leave them on the camera or just download them to their computer. The possibility of losing your photos if your memory card is damaged or lost or if your computer crashes is more likely to happen than not apparently. I love looking through my many albums and remembering the events or holidays and sometimes family and friends that are no longer with us.

Happy scrapping and see you soon.

January Stamp of the Month

Welcome to the Australasian CTMH "Stamp of the Month" Blog Hop if you arrived here from  Lauren Moore you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance I hope you like what you see, just click on the link at the end of this post to go to the next blog. We have some great ideas to share.

This month's stamp is "Adore You" S1701, another beautiful stamp that can be used for lots of different projects. The images and sentiments are lovely.

I have created a layout and a card using this great stamp set. It appears to be for Valentines Day or a romantic theme but as you can see I have used it to make a family layout. So never be put off by first impressions of our stamps as they are all so versatile. I have used the papers from the Rustic Home Fundamentals Z3262 and the Whimsy Fundamentals Z3255, the Shin Han Markers to colour my stamped images and various embellishments. The Micro Tip Scissors Z1836 make fussy cutting the stamped images so easy. The craft cardstock was cut at 6" and placed in the centre of the page, the yellow and white stripe paper id 4" and placed 1" down from the top of the craft cardstock.

My second project is a card which I stamped multiple images of the floral heart stamp using Pixie and Glacier Ink and a few other punched hearts from various papers. I added Glacier Twine and a  heart from Base and Bling range, which is no longer available. I used 3D Foam to adhere the hearts and the envelope..

I hope you are enjoying the hop, to continue click here to see what great project Georgia  has created. Please take a moment to leave a comment, we all read and appreciate your comments.
