Hello Darlin Blog Hop

Welcome to the Australasian CTMH Hello Darlin blog hop, if you arrived here from Lauren Moore at  CTMH Craftings you are in the right place. If you arrived by chance I hope you see something you like and then click on the link at the end of this post to take you to the next blog. This is a circular hop so when you get back to me the hop is completed.

The Hello Darlin papers are bright and beautiful, the theme is very much the American 4th of July patriotic look with the red white and blue colour scheme. As always with the beautiful patterned  papers they can be used for many different projects. The sticker sheet offers lots of lovely images to decorate your cards or pages.

I only had this one photo of my brother wearing his new glasses, my niece asked me to take of picture of her dad and send it to her, so I obliged. These papers were perfect to use for this page, the word spectacular was fussy cut from one of the PML cards. The stitching around the edge of the page is a now discontinued stamp but there are many other similar CTMH stamps available. The glasses are a cricut cut, the tags. the date, words and splatter stamps are from my stash of many CTMH stamps.

I added the Layered Flowers thin cut set Z4324 to my stash in last month's Memorial Day sale and I am very happy with them. There are 17 different dies in this set, a combination of flowers and leaves. This card uses some of the flowers and one of the leaves thin cuts. I have also one of the stencils from the Dream Maker stencil set CC3235 and I am so happy with how this card turned out.

This is a pretty simple layout, it uses a 6"x 12"piece of printed paper, 2 zip strips and small bits of other printed paper. The flowers and title are fussy cut from the PML cards. To add a little interest, I tore small areas of the white daisy cardstock and added some printed paper behind the tears.

Thank you for stopping by, to see more great ideas, hop along to Lynda's blog the Scrapbooking Photographer  and see what great project she has to share.
