National Scrapbook Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Australasian CTMH NSD blog hop, if you arrived here from Maz at aMAZing creations   you are in the right place. If you arrived by chance this is a circular hop and you can go to the next blog by clicking on the link at the end of this page.

The Dream Maker collection is one the prettiest that CTMH have released, the colours, the designs and the elements are all so beautiful. The coordinating cardstock with the marble pattern on one side has to be seen in real life to truly appreciate it. The stencil and die cuts are a great addition to the papers. Unfortunately I forgot to order the stamp set but I will be getting them soon.

The Dream Maker collection was perfect for these photos of my friend's birthday celebration. We sipped tea from fine bone china cups and the delicacies served were scrumptious. I really enjoyed working with this collection, I used two of the stencil patterns to decorate my pages and the tea pot and cups and saucers.  Also used were various stamps from my stash, and some of the die cuts. Of course some pearls are always the perfect decoration.

I have been making simple cards lately and this is another one, I used one of the papers plus a sentiment from my stash, a few black dots and this pretty ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by now hop along to Danni at Scrappychicks and see what wonderful project she has to share.

Hey Handsome Blog Hop

Welcome to the Australasian CTMH Hey Handsome blog hop, if you have arrived here from The Scrapbooking Photographer you are in the right place. If you have arrived by chance this is a circular hop so click on the link at the end of this post to go to the next blog.

The Hey Handsome collection has a masculine theme but you may be surprised to see that it is not just restricted to masculine projects. The papers can be very versatile.

My mother who was 91 passed away in March and I was given these two beautiful rose bushes by a few of my wonderful friends. One is called "Mother's Love" and the other "Remember Me" which I chose as the title for my page.  The title is a cricut cut, the font is Autumn in November which is a free download from Dafont and I have used the offset feature.

I have chosen two of the papers and just a narrow strip of paprika cardstock for this layout. The brown hessian paper is from the April-June Mix In paper pack.  The rose stamp is now discontinued but it is perfect for this page. I have also added some stamped and die cut hearts plus diecut leaves and a few sparkly gems.

This card uses the motorcycle stamp from the Born to Ride Z4691 stamp set and one of my many birthday stamps. The black tweed look paper and some cardstock made this a simple and easy card to make, yet it looks great. I have adhered the motorcycle image with thin 3D foam tape.

I am a real fan of fairies and this stamp set is so very cute it's called Fairy Garden Z4526. This is another easy yet fun card to make, I used the harbour paper and cardstock, red cardstock and ribbon and a few sparkly gems. I also used the clear shimmer brush for the fairy's wings and it looks so pretty, it doesn't really show up in the photo but they really do shimmer and sparkle.  The white die cut frame I have had for many years and do not know where I got it, and it looks so pretty on this card. I added the stitch lines on the small square of harbour cardstock with a white gel pen Z1513.

Thank you for stopping by, now for some more ideas hop along to Danielle at Scrappychicks I am sure she will have something great to share.
