July Stamp of the Month "Highlight Reel"

Welcome to the July Stamp of the Month blog hop, if you arrived here from Lauren Moore's blog you are in the right place. If you arrived here by chance just click on the link at the end of this post to go to the next blog, I hope you find some inspiration here.

Highlight Reel stamp set is filled with many fun icons that you will be able to use with lots of different projects. These stamps will really add something special to you cards or scrapbooking layouts .

Pets are wonderful members of our families, they bring us joy and offer real companionship to many people. We had dogs in our family when I was growing up but by a happy coincidence my first pet as an adult was a cat, he lived to a ripe old age of 17years. This layout shows two of my lovely cats who were well looked after and loved me as much as I loved them. I have used the paw print, heart and banner stamps. To add the S to Pet I just used a journaling pen. The sleeping kitty stamp is from a now discontinued stamp set.

As I said this stamp set has great versatility and I have done a second layout with different stamps. The "A Day to Remember" stamp was just what I needed for this layout, I also used the house, part of the banner stamp and the dot border.  The neutral colours from the Fundamental Paper Pack worked well with these photos.

I love visiting historic homes and museums, I have been researching my family tree for a few years and oh how I wish I had photos of my ancestors or had access to stories of how they lived their lives.

Thank you for stopping by, to continue the hop click here to see what Kay has created, I am sure it will be something special.  Please take a moment and leave a comment, I do really appreciate them.
